Product Photos
Product photography can creatively fun and challenging...capturing items in a variety of poses, places amongst other things. The items must stand out, they have to be the focus of the photograph. I worked for a childrens retail company for 9 years during which I photographed clothing and accessories seasonally...it helped hone my skills and I found that I had a passion for showing products in a lifestyle form instead of a solid white background. Here are some samples of handmade necklaces and earrings designed by Shadow Raven Jewelry.

Experimental
Recently I took to the backyard in search of interesting things to photograph. With the new leaves sprouting and the rains of April & May, I found a treasure trove of subjects to play with. The wedding season is coming and details are extremely important. One must practice! Sarah Murray (Wedding) Photography is getting busy! I love nature, what a perfect subject! Look at that greenery!

Lemon Citrine A Dream

In my entry "The Pink Ladies" I mentioned I was going antiquing for the first time. That day was certainly eventful. It began perfectly, I had dressed comfortably, I had my friend join me and we were ready to search the Cape for interesting objects. I began my journey by stopping by a local shop (where there are no antiques but pretty sparkly things). I couldn't help myself so I purchased the necklace that I had been eyeing for over a year. I was so happy and so excited. Its a rare occasion where I feel not guilty for indulging on something so sweet.

Now I am one of those people that feels a little down after putting so much effort into searching and shopping but I was only sad that I couldn't find that special old little thing. However, I did end the day wearing my new shining necklace. What an experience. I am going to try again soon.

The World Of Fairies

They are completely poseable and made of a wire body. Measuring about 6" and standing 12". These fairies are adorned with ribbons, feathers, anise seeds, beads and more. Very stylish in fact...and all hand made.
